Self Care Continued...
In January, we started the conversation on self-care and discussed obvious things we can do to contribute to a healthier mental state such as exercise, mindfulness, and adequate sleep. There are less obvious aspects that can affect anxiety too. During our April Zoom Topic Night, we’ll continue to explore these topics. Topic Nights are held on the last Wednesday of each month during our Zoom Support Group.

Shedding Light on Anxiety
Spring not only brings chirping birds, warm breezes, and greener grass, it’s also the time when more sunlight returns. Getting outside and enjoying all the new surprises of spring can be mood altering.
Can the sunlight also help our mental health and actually improve anxiety? Tanya J. Peterson with HealthyPlace sheds some light on this topic.
